Discover your outstanding resorts fresh out of refurbishments and experience the beauty, adventure, relaxation and complete comfort that await you on your next holiday! It is important to us that we maintain your resort accommodation to a high standard of comfort and quality for all Owners. In order to achieve this, your resorts are treated to refurbishments from time to time, plus new resorts are developed to provide new accommodation options as the WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham grows. We are very focused on minimising the impact to Owners holidaying as the refurbishments take place and if you are at a resort as it is undergoing a refurbishment, thank you for your understanding as we enhance your resort assets. Here's an outline of activity that will keep the Project team busy throughout the end of 2011- 2012. Ramada Resort Port Douglas As you may be aware Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific has recently added to the portfolio a resort in Port Douglas. Our team is working on reconfiguring 194 hotel rooms into 86 Standard & Deluxe hotel rooms and one & two bedroom apartments to provide a broad range of choice for you. The refurbishment will include updated bathrooms, new kitchens, paint & dining furniture in all apartments & updated floor finishes in some apartments. The refurbishment is due for completion mid 2012. Improvements will also be made to common areas & the tropical gardens throughout the resort.
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific Sydney
The superbly positioned Wyndham Sydney will soon undergo interior renewal. Planning is now underway with commencement of sample rooms expected late 2011 and the refurbishment currently scheduled to take place from late April 2012. The renovation programme will commence with the lower half of the hotel and each category of room will reflect vibrant new furnishings - sofa beds, armchairs, artwork and soft accessories. Furniture that remains in good order will not be replaced. To minimise impact on Owners, there will be a buffer level above and below floors when hard construction works are taking place to reduce noise transference to occupied floors. In addition to works at Ramada Resort Port Douglas and Wyndham Sydney, Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific Crown Towers is scheduled for a minor refurbishment expected to encompass paint refresh, new carpet and selective white goods replacement.
Previous Quarter Refurbishments
Last quarter we spoke of WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham resorts at Port Stephens, Port Macquarie (Northpoint) , Lakes Entrance & Coffs Harbour (Terraces) undergoing their scheduled refurbishment. The refurbishments at all four resorts are now complete and receiving positive feedback from Owners who have recently stayed.
