Flying into Shanghai you will spend 3 nights in this gracious and cosmopolitan city.  From Shanghai you will fly to Yichang where you will embark on your Victoria cruise ship for 4 nights.  Enjoy spectacular days sailing along the mighty Yangtze River.  Relax and marvel at the breathtaking scenery as steep cliffs rise from the water's edge to form fantastic shaped peaks and pinnacles.  Cruise to Chongqing through the famous Three Gorges of Xiling, Wu and Qutang which together are considered the most stunning stretch of the river.  After disembarking at Chongqing you will be transferred to Chengdu.  A special treat will be a visit to the Giant Panda Breeding research base.  Next stop is Xian - famous for its amazing archaeological wonders including the Terracotta Warriors of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.  Finishing the tour with 4 nights in Beijing, your China experience will well and truly be complete.
