For local New Zealanders you may want to use your own car, and for our Australian owners you have the option of using your credits or cash towards carhire for the week to combine with the below accommodation itinerary.

This itinerary gives you two nights in Christchurch (these don’t have to be consecutive), and one night in stunning Lake Tekapo, a region which is truly awe inspiring, sculptured by the last ice age. Continue on to Wanaka, a destination for all seasons! Translated from Maori, Wanaka means ‘rejuvenation of the soul’ a very apt name for an alpine town in the heart of a spectacular setting. With four distinctive seasons there is always something special in and around Lake Wanaka.
