FRIENDS FIRST WINNERS - April 2008
Here is a story about one of the previous Friends First competition winners: Petra Duggan – April 2008 - won a $10,000 travel voucher!
When Petra Duggan received a phone call from Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific informing her that she had won an AUD$10,000 Travel Voucher, it took a while to convince her that we were telling the truth!
“I didn’t believe it! I don’t know how many times I entered the competition but I didn’t think I would win!”
Having been a WorldMark South Pacific Club Owner for four years, Petra has found the experience exciting and worthwhile, and now, more rewarding than ever.
Born in New Zealand but raised in Barbados, Petra hasn’t seen her family for over nine years, since moving to Australia. She plans on using her voucher for a very memorable family reunion in sunny Barbados!
And she is definitely looking forward to a break. Petra - a cook and beauty therapist, by trade - loves to spend her spare time horse riding with her two beautiful children, Nathan, 8, and Georgia, 4. She is also quite the art buff, and when the kids aren’t taking up all her attention, Petra sits down to practice her oil paintings.
With five horses to look after on a 50- acre property, the family can’t wait to take an island break, surrounded by crystal clear water and golden sand. “It’s my ideal holiday and seeing the family again will be amazing,” Petra said.
